i’m a real hardcore linkin park fan so i thought i would talk about them a little bit.as you might know they are a rock band with their own style. some people call them a Rap-Metal band, some NU-Metal, some rock-pop and everyone kinda has their own idea about them but the band don’t try to categorize themselves in any of these, they just want people to accept them for what they are and recognize it as Linkin Park. their first album is called “Hybrid Theory” and it was released on year 2000!it’s first single was “One Step Closer” but the real deal start for them with “In The End” video which i’m sure you know. In the End was the song that linkin park got famous and don’t know about you but i never get tired of listening to it!
few years after the success of Hybrid Theory the band released their second album called Re-animation which was Remixes of the first album and couple of new songs.the most popular single of this album is Pts.of.Athrty (Points of Authority remix) which shows a battle between robots which probably happens in future of the earth.
in 2003 the band released their 2nd studio album called “Meteora”. Meteora was really a successful album with many great songs and videos such as Faint that was a video showing the band Live and the most remembered thing about it are the lights in the background which makes you see only shadows of the band members and gives it a very cool effect!after meteora the band did a lot of touring and went nearly all over the world from east to the west.
recently they released their latest album called Minutes To Midnight. this album is very different from the Linkin Park we knew. there are more of softer songs and not as rock as they were tough they also have heavy songs like Given Up that lead singer Chester Bennington screams for like 18 seconds without a break.one of the other things that was changed was the swearing that you couldn’t hear any swearing in any of linkin park songs before Minutes to Midnight and good or bad they’ve started swearing on their songs.the first single of Minutes to Midnight is called what i’ve done which has a really great video that shows today’s main issues such as global warming, drugs, dictators like saddam and how they are similar to hitler and…
