TAM airlines Airbus-320 crashes into the gas station in Brazil and kills nearly 200 people! Jose Serra Sao Paulo state Gov. said there almost no hope of finding any of the 176 people aboard alive since the temperature inside the plane reached 1,830 degrees Fahrenheit. TAM worker who was walking near the accident site when this happened say:
“All of a sudden I heard a loud explosion, and the ground beneath my feet shook, I looked up and I saw a huge ball of fire, and then I smelled the stench of kerosene and sulfur.”
Brazilian president(Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva) declared three days of national mourning due to this disaster that killed hundreds of people!
This isn’t the first time that something like this happens to TAM airline planes, in1996 one of their Fokker-100 skidded off the runway Congonhas airport and down a street before erupting in a fireball. The crash killed all 96 people on board and three on the ground.and over all 338 people have died in 7 accidents with TAM airlines since 1979 and that’s an average of 12 people each year! or 1 person each month!
