Nearly 1,200 fans already know how the latest Harry Potter book ends and they didn’t download it but they got their paid official version with a extra-speedy delivery thanks to 2 of the book retailers from Tuesday.Harry Potter’s US publisher is suing 2 companies who are responsible for this. According to court papers they’ve sued ‘DeepDiscount.com’ for breaking the strict midnight Saturday embargo and ‘Levy Entertainment’ for failing to ensure books were not sent out. it also seems like the publisher has a list of customers who have received the book from DeepDiscount.com and asked them to put it on a side and don’t read it!
In answer of this case DeepDiscount.com’s spokesman said:
“We take the situation very seriously and are conducting an internal investigation.”
Meanwhile ‘Levy Entertainment’ declined to comment.
JK rowling(the author) has also posted this on her official website about the matter:
“Let’s all, please, ignore the misinformation popping up on the web and in the press.
I’d like to ask everyone who calls themselves a Harry Potter fan to help preserve the secrecy of the plot for all those who are looking forward to reading the book at the same time on publication day.
In a very short time you will know everything!“
